June 4th An Evening in Tuscany (SOLD OUT!!)
Spend an unforgettable evening at the home of Becky and Barry Switzer and take a tour of Tuscany in wine, food, and entertainment. The wines courtesy of Republic National Distributing Company will feature fine wines from Italy as well as Italian style wines from California. The fantastic food pairings will be prepared and offered by Benvenuti’s. Reservations are limited and are $125 per person.
June 5th Le Tour de Vin
Taste over 200 wines from such noted producers as Amethyst, Woodard Canyon, Paradigm, Napa Wine Co. and Caymus, offered by Republic National Distributing Company. Savor specialty entrees and desserts from the area's top restaurants. Participate in silent and live auctions of fine and rare wines, trips, gifts, and collectables. The evening’s festivities will take place at the Kerr-McGee Stadium Club, Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. Tickets are $100 per person.
You may purchase the entire weekend for $200 per person.
Both events require advance registration; participants must be 21 years of age.
Begin your weekend on Friday, June 4th with an intimate setting in the beautiful yard and gardens of the Switzer home. Sample sumptuous wine and food complimented by a snippet of entertainment that may range from soothing music, to famous chef demonstrations. Saturday, June 5th, ushers in the main event Le Tour de Vin. Taste over 200 wines and sample signature entrees and desserts from the area's top restaurants and caterers, all while experiencing the region's only fine wine auction. The eighth annual Le Tour De Vin will feature both domestic and foreign wines, gourmet foods, and a live and silent auction.
Some say this is the best kept secret in wine auctions. Others, who attended the event in the past, maintain its one of the best places to taste and to latch onto wines that are hard to come by. Many are highly rated wines and rare collectibles from producers around the world.
The proceeds will be used by the three Rotary Clubs of Norman for their community and service projects and the Thunderbird Clubhouse. The Clubhouse experience offers respect and opportunities to adults living with and recovering from mental illness.
